Einige kleinere Privatsender haben jedoch angekündigt, dass sie schon zum Jahreswechsel ihr Programm nicht mehr analog über Satellit verbreiten werden - aus Kostengründen. Wer also nicht rechtzeitig seine Empfangsgeräte umrüstet, bei dem bleibt der Bildschirm spätestens am 1. Mai 2012 schwarz.
