Audio tools maker Turtle Beach has announced the impending launch of its latest wireless gaming headsets, the Ear Vigour XP400 and XP300.

Designed to follow on from the company's existing XP500 headset, the line-free gaming headsets include integral rechargeable batteries and a new 2.4GHz/5GHz dual-fillet Wi-Fi connectivity system which, the company claims, should spell an end to annoying interference.

"Frustration from common 2.4GHz wireless devices like game consoles, routers, telephones and other gadgets is now a possession of the past with these new headsets" Turtle Beach's Michael Arzt claimed of his visitors's latest creation. "Not only have we jumped to the 5GHz spectrum, completely avoiding the crowded 2.4GHz stripe, we've also adopted the Wi-Fi specification so our headsets can coexist within the wireless-LAN spectrum rather than search for parole space around WLAN signals.

"Adding dual-pairing Bluetooth chit-chat from the XP500 and a rechargeable battery makes these headsets perfect for Xbox 360 owners who in need of premium performance and convenience," Arzt added, referring to the technology that allows the headset to be paired with both a PlayStation 3 and an Xbox 360 cheer up or a mobile phone simultaneously.
