Cheerily, TomTom have slashed the evaluation for the introduction of the Carkit in NZ – $198 – which is (at last) less than the penalty of a standalone TomTom.

I’ve ordered one because I find the TomTom software is not much use with the built-in iPhone GPS (it loses its status a lot).

Also, my Belkin charger can’t keep up with the power frame!

I currently have ATT Skipper which is extremely TeleNav (incredible unaffected continuously transport nav app) which ATT charges $10 a month but I’m buying the TomTom app through iTunes today and give it a try. It’s a $99 app on reduced in price on the market for a span of more days for $49 through itunes. If it’s good enough unimaginative nav, I’ll quit my ATT Nav either way, I’ve got the outdo car kit handy.
