Kevin Sather, Sony chief product manager for the Vaio Group, said the Vaio Cross was inspired by the popularity of tablets combined with the benefit of a keyboard. The stylish thingumajig allows users to take notes, run graphics or presentations. Sony did not bare anything about the specification, only stating the Hybrid and Slate are concept models and nowhere hairbreadth final products.
Toshiba's 7.7-inch and 13.3-inch troche prototypes are light and thin with rounded corners and a textured back. Toshiba was interested in using the contract factors for future devices though it's not sure these will ever hit the market.
One of the highlight tablets was Lenovo's 13.3-inch IdeaPad Yoga that opens like a healthy laptop but can then flip backwards to become a tablet. Taiwanese PC vendors Asus and Acer showed off their unique strengths. While Asus's new Transformer Prime Android 4.0 plaque came with the sharp and bright looks, with a rear cover designed to acknowledge for better GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth performance, Acer's Iconia A700 Tab focused on the throng's new cloud-based, device-agnostic streaming and sharing elucidation.
