How can I connect SONY SA-W2500 subwoofer to my laptop 1/8" stereo jack without any extra receiver/amplifier?

Question: The subwoofer comes with a cable with an RCA plug on both sides. Is there a way to connect to the 1 / 8 "stereo jack converter using a non-involved?

Answer: I think that has a built in amp.
just buy a cable that changes the promotion of a phono 1 / 8 "plug.

Question: I've been researching the Sony SA-W2500 subwoofer to affiliate directly to one of the line outs of my computer, but I can't seem to find for sure whether or not it has a built in amplifier. Does it?
