I was pleasantly surprised after hooking the new pre-amp. I'm converting my vinyl to MP3 files and I realized I needed a preamp with my deck. It needed a 9 volt battery or a DC adapter (neither was included). I chose to take advantage of an adapter (it costs more than the pre-amp), the hanger in place and begin work. It was spectacular!
