Which speaker(s) is/are the most important in a surround sound system; Center channel or the fronts (mains)?

In other words, should he splash $ 300 for a center channel or just treat it like the rest of the speakers.

Answer: A surround system should be "color matched. Means that all speakers to reproduce their portion of the frequency spectrum without staining or improve or decrease the response freq. For home theater it should be disagreeable to the extent that production will theoretically.

On a surround sound receiver, how many watts are pushed through the center channel?

Question: Say the receiver is 250 watts. Anyone have an hint of what it would be?

Answer: Also, most receivers now own you to boost or cut the center channel, which I find useful due to the fact that 85% of the dialog occurs at that frequency travel over. I often find dialog to be somewhat buried in the mix for some reason....peradventure it's just me, but it's cool

I try to board a new receiver with HDMI output to run my PS3, Wii, Guy, etc. ... I have before and enlarged or JBL speakers installed in the ceiling (they are perpendicular mounting type which are cut into the drywall) JBL Pro a subwoofer and a center channel decisive Technologies. I would like to accompany and driving at higher levels ... Who does not? Refrain from me if you can !!!!!!!

Do my speakers fit my receiver?

Ok, I currently have a 42panasonic pz80u. I’m in the manipulate of getting a 52 XBR5 to be just now. I also am gettting the following for my surround sound system.

Receiver: Sony STR-DG520 which is 5.1 Channel Power Rating: 100W x 5 Amp Power (8 ohms, THD 1.0%)

Speakers: I am getting two sets of packaged speakers so i would use em as front left-wing, front exact, build left side, arse as the crow flies. They are the Sony B3000, which be missing 120 watts power.

Center Lecturer: I am getting the Sony SS-CN5000 center spieler that is 150 watts.

Subwoofer: Getting the Sony SA-W3000 that is 180 watts.

My dispute is my receiver intense enough for my speakers, center, and sub or are my speakers substantial enough for my receiver whatever way u accept it. I absolutely wanted to get the unqualified technology pro cinemas 600 series enclose but didnt have the wherewithal and i also employment for sony so i get a profit deal for all this. Any suggestions or answers greatly appreciated. I hunger to certain if im using the factual materiel. De facto? thanks for the info. If you could can you send me via email or jus propagate another take links to this ebay contract i cant find it. I searched for the whilom 15 mins n didnt find em. Also i favour sony doesnt manage the overwhelm sound but jus figured i would use my reduce there but i will definetly buy the fiddle-faddle u jus recommended. Im generally using this for surround sound for movies. So blu ray n such. Thanks for the lend a hand and if u have any links for the spirit would be inordinate.
