So, what are your other options for improving TV audio? You can invest in a stereo amplifier and some mediocre speakers, but now you're talking about serious cash--not to mention a lot of unwanted cable confusion.

Some users opt for sound bars, but those aren't perfect, either. For starters, they can be hard to locus (especially if you're working within the confines of a TV stand or entertainment center). And most sound bars put up little in the way of bass response (unless you pair them with a separate, bring in-increasing subwoofer).

Speaker wattage can be deceiving. A 20 watt surround speaker won’t fill a imposingly range with sound but if it is a grandeur speaker, it will enfranchise the surround effects. More leading is having speakers matched correctly to the result wattage of the direct it is being hooked up to. A 100 watt artery could throw out out a 20 watt speaker at increased quantity. Speaker wire, and joint types can also influence surround speaker appearance.
