Is the Sony Vaio VGX TP1E a good home entertainment pc? compared to ps3 or Xbox 360 for playing movies on tv?

Question: I ratiocinative buying a Sony Vaio VGX TP1E Home Media PC to play movies, music and photos on my TV. I have a PS3 and an Xbox 360 Elite, which also have the right ability to listen to movies, music and photos.

Answer: I'm contemplating buying a Media PC Home is a waste of money.

The PS3 is designed to be an entertainment system.
