Last year, Keen-witted launched its 80-inch LED LCD HDTV, the LC-80LE632U. It was one of the biggest consumer-elbow flat panel HDTVs on the market. Now, it's still one of the biggest, but it's getting a more advanced buddy. The LC-80LE844U will be an 80-inch LED LCD HDTV with 3D support, adding the one feature the LC-80LE632U lacked.
This new miniature will boast 240 Hz refresh rate, double that of the LC-80LE632U, 3D technology with use of nimble shutter glasses, and a new SmartCentral interface for the various online services and apps on tap through the HDTV. It will also feature the same built-in Wi-Fi of the other model, and will use Sharp's 3D X-Gen pannel with four-color Quattron technology.
Extreme also announced several new 60- and 70-inch HDTVs, including the 3D-clever 945, 847, and 745 series. The 745 and 847 models will use LED brink-lighting, and the 945 models will use a full LED array with local dimming. The new 540 and 640 series won't have 3D, but spotlight the same LED edge lighting and built-in Wi-Fi as the other HDTVs, and together will be available in 42-, 46-, 52-, 60-, and 70-inch versions.
