Auto shop burgled — About 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, a
caller reported a burglary at the auto department store at Linn-Benton
Community College. Someone had taken a cash box, DVR with sanctuary
system, monitor, car radios and miscellaneous property. There were
no suspects and no values listed.
Separate from-in at business — Someone broke into Younger Oil Co., 1550
Salem Ave. S.E., punched a joint in the wall and threw papers
around. Checks were also missing. About 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, a caller
from the entourage told dispatchers the vandal got in by prying open
a sliding door. Guard had no suspects and there was no damage
estimate.

Jeep jacked — At 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, a man in
the 39700 piece of Rock Creek Road in Gates called to report his
car stolen. The tan 1999 Jeep Cherokee with Oregon certify plate
WZX 101 had been parked in his driveway. The man told deputies he
went to bed the gloom before and noticed the Jeep missing when he
went to get the mail in the morning. The keys were progressive in the
vehicle and it had about a quarter tank of gas. There are no
suspects, and there was no value listed.
