Anyone who reads this column on a even basis, may have noticed a deliberate pattern in my subject choices. So that no one can accuse me of being prejudiced toward any one of the "Big 3" auto makers, with the occasional exception, I try to rotate my stories... one week a Chrysler merchandise, the next a Ford followed by a GM car or truck. The fourth week in the rotation is for the 'other' classification into which I place the occasional import, 'orphaned' marques (mostly independents no longer in development i.e. Packard, Hudson, Studebaker, etc.) and the very occasional motorcycle story. This week's citizen "vehicle" definitely falls into the "other" category, but I'm not sure exactly what sub-type to call it.

This story starts out on a lazy Saturday night New Year's Eve of December, 2011. My chief economic officer, a.k.a. wife, and I had no plans for the evening. After 37 years together, we wait on to stay at home and let the younger generation go out and make fools of themselves. Pablo's 10-year old nephew Luis was staying over with us and Kathy wanted me to fee/buy an old video game, the first in the Spyro the Dragon series. (Remember "dragon".) I called every video put by within a fifty mile radius and couldn't find one. Just when I was about to give up, I made one last call to Gamez Unleashed, a tight, independent game shop in Belleville.
